Qualification Overview
Kettlebells are fantastic for functional training, fat loss programmes, hypertrophy and fitness gains. We will teach you the science behind Kettlebell training as well as how to apply it into programmes.
Learn the biomechanics of using the Kettlebell for your training, the benefits of Kettlebell training over other systems, and the foundation Kettlebell drills. Qualification Purpose
The Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebell Exercises (RQF) is aimed at those learners qualified with a level 2 fitness qualification looking to be able to extend their knowledge and understanding of kettlebell exercises.
The Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebell Exercises (RQF) provides learners with the knowledge of kettlebell exercises, including the benefits and limitations.
Learner Entry Requirements
A learner must have previously completed a Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification, other than this we do not set any other entry requirements for the qualification.
Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre however, learners should be at least 16 to undertake this qualification.
Progression Routes
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
- Level 3 National Award/Certificate/Diploma in Sport
- Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise

As you’ve noticed, there are a whole bunch of online lessons for you to complete BEFORE you get to the live workshop and assessment days.
This is a self paced course so you can learn around your current commitments and lifestyle. Please however, do the work. Please don’t attempt to book a live workshop without completing all lessons on this system beforehand. There is vital information about how to progress through the course and not miss anything that you’ll need on the live days. We hope to maximise practice time on the live days rather than talk through the theory that you learn at home.
